Harsh Mehta truth

Money can help you to buy wealth, not health. Harsh truth.

Wealth is just one of the tools for human well-being, not the whole of it.

Wealth means making the outside pleasant for ourselves. Money is just a means, it is not an end by itself.

A lesson for lot many of us including me ..pls do some walking out in the open any time of day or night.. don’t give excuses. you are otherwise calling the YamDoot yourself.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s life is a lesson that good health is the ultimate wealth. Because beyond a few crores, it is just a number. This covid lockdown created a new class of home-bound traders, who are not doing any physical activity. A combination of a sedentary lifestyle plus lack of physical activity plus a stressed mind is a deadly combination.

A few years ago Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was asked what his New Year wish was. He said, Doctors had advised his movement and to give priority to his health. He admitted he was lazy, and somehow avoiding it plus he loved his drinks in the evening.

Finally, it proved to be a fatal combination. Physical activity is a must. Walking in the Sun daily is a must.

62 is definitely no age to die.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala - the other Big Bull...

He had invested in Star Health, the company in which layman invest for their own medical needs. But alas...

"I am an alcoholic consuming 6 pegs daily,

Smoker with 25 cigarettes a day, and no proper physical exercise."

He only revealed these habits in one of his interviews.

So in a way he had decided his own fate.

In the process his blood sugars went haywire,

developed ESRD ( End Stage Reanal Disease),

survived on HD ( haemodialysis ) till his  ultimate demise.

Had a bad diabetic foot.

He was unable to get up from his chair even in presence of PM Modiji, for which he was trolled badly until the real reason for his act was revealed.

He grossly ignored his heath while amassing immense wealth,

40 thousand crore ₹ to be precise.

Unfortunately not have a penny he could carry with him during his final journey.

He left behind a large booty for his family and an even more precious message for every single one of us.

Money has crores of good ways but only one bad way, you can not carry it with you.

Health is a real wealth, which you can not buy, it has to be earned and maintained, to enjoy life with your hard earned money.

None of us are worried about running out of time.

All of us are worried about running out of money

Even 40,000 cr can not give you one extra minute of your life.

Passed away at 62 years, 5 BN USD that is 40,000 Cr wealth.

Most people will run out of time before they run out of money.

But everyone behaves as if they will run out of money before they run out of time.

RIP Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.
